Responsibilities
You are responsible in preparing technical proposals with good quality, competitive, complete and compliance to client’s requirements and on timely manner. Assisting sales team in meeting clients for technical clarification and closing sales target. Candidate with vast years of experiences and proven track record can be consider for senior position.
- Support sales team in preparing technical proposals.
- Liaising with suppliers/manufacturers/project team members on pricing and technical compliance.
- Build, customize and deliver sales presentations, maintain and manage clients’ database and prospect data in our sales database.
- Pro- actively works with Sales Team seeking new opportunities to win new markets and to fully understand customers businesses and requirements.
- Work with the Sales Team and Department Managers in negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications; advising on forthcoming project developments.
- Report to the Manager on his/her weekly sales proposal activities / report; review sales performances in the relevant assigned systems/clients/markets.
- Assist the Managers in gathering competitors’ business information (intelligence) and relevant market research/analysis.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to organize and staff road shows/ exhibitions and marketing activities.
- In charge on documentation such as Purchase Order, Delivery Order, Purchase Requisition and other sales transaction documents.
- Any other duties assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Possess a degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum 2 years of experience in the Marine/Offshore /Oil and Gas industry.
- Good experience working in Technical Sales, Proposal or Engineering Design / Technical or Project Execution / Management position.
- Possess good written and verbal skills.
- Possess a high level of personal responsibility and self-motivation; with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Able to travel frequently together with sales members and visit potential clients.
- Good analytical/problem solving skills/abilities.
- A self-starter with ability to multi-task and handle work pressure well.
